Can I apply or nominate a school that is not in the UK?
No, these awards are only open to nurseries, pre-schools, primary and secondary schools in the UK. We are only accepting applications from non fee-paying school provision.
What if I am outside the UK?
The Good School Food Awards are only operating in the UK at the moment.
Which schools can apply for the awards?
The awards are open to nurseries, pre-schools, primary and secondary schools in the UK. We are only accepting applications from non fee-paying school provision. We are accepting applications from all Early Years settings.
Where can I look to get help in improving my school food?
There are so many brilliant organisations you can go to for support, including Veg Power, School Food Matters, Chefs in Schools, the Food Foundation and Food for Life.
What are The Good School Food Awards?

Do I have to pay to enter?
The awards are free to enter.
Can I apply for more than one Award?
Absolutely. There is no limit to the number of awards a person or organisation can enter.
Can I submit an ongoing project?
Of course – we are happy to consider both ongoing and completed projects.
How are the awards judged?
The awards will be shortlisted by our expert panel, who have a track record of knowledge and experience in these fields. Then the celebrity judging panel will choose who wins the award… And may even hand-deliver a few to schools!
