2026 Kindness and Community Award KIM WILLIAMS & ANNIE KEOGH, PINE GREEN ACADEMY, WOLVERHAMPTON
Kim Williams and Annie Keogh share a fundamental belief: no family in their community should ever go without help when they need it. As the driving force behind ‘The Greens Food Bank’, this dynamic duo has turned a simple idea into an absolute lifeline for families across Wolverhampton.
What started as just three food parcels a week has grown into a highly organised, dignified service delivering hundreds of food hampers, hygiene packs, and clever recipe bags filled with pre-measured ingredients to help families cook healthy, budget-friendly meals together at home.

But Kim and Annie do so much more than hand out supplies. They have built a holistic, completely non-judgmental Family Hub that hosts vital workshops to support parents with children’s health, sleep routines, and wellbeing. They work tirelessly to protect the dignity of every student, arranging discreet home drops and loading parcels directly onto school transport so no child ever feels singled out.
Their incredible care has built immense trust, sparking a massive 60% surge in parental engagement and a fantastic boost in school attendance. You are true pillars of your community, Kim and Annie.
Well done on winning this year’s 2026 Kindness and Community Award!
